:wow: I have been working on restoring an old 1939 Triumph I picked up oversea for over a year. After a long wait having the engine rebuilt I got the bike back today and I took it out for it's first ride.

:hihi: It was great. Not a very comfortable ride and differently not fast (18 hp, gets up to about 45 mph), but riding it was great. Anyway after about an hour of riding I blow the head casket I guess the old copper gasket just gave out. Rotten luck. Had to push it home about 2 miles in 90 degree heat. Lucky the mechanic who rebuild the engine said he replace it with a new copper gasket (he didn't want to replace it with a paper gasket) unfortunately the replacement will take about 3 weeks from England.

The wait begins again. I have some pictures in my album soon.
