Hi all:

I haven't gotten my Legend back from the dealer yet, but he says it's a seal that was either no good or had dried out while the bike sat (I bought a hold-over). I'll let you all know if that takes care of the problem. I don't think the problem was the bike being over-full of oil; so much of it leaked out of the airbox on the first night out on our trip, that no oil was showing in the sight window unless I leaned the bike to the right! That's how I knew this wasn't a normal or OK thing to be happening.

Anyway, when I get the Green Monster back, I'll let you all know how it went. The dealer seemed to have a couple of ideas about what was wrong, so I trust them to find and fix the leak.

More later. Ride hard! (I'm riding the 'crusty' Kawasaki this week, but I don't mind because it's a hoot.)
