No kidding, the same thing happened to me just the other day. Plus, my bike has never been down and the oil has not been touched in 1500 miles. This problem just appeared out of nowhere. It may have had something to do with the temperature is my only guess. It was a very hot day in busy afternoon traffic. I think you may be right about the crank case breather. I will give my dealer a call. Please let us know what you find and i'll do the same.
