DADSBIKE: just to get back to the original post; it would be best to use a motorcycle specific oil instead of one of the automobile ones. There are differences in the formulation of today's oils. I'm using Torco in my '70, but that's just one of many that are available. Get a manual and see how to adjust the primary chain, as you'll want to do that when you change the primary's oil.
Just my $.02 worth: Jim
