hi p,
you might have a worn out clutch drum,or the rollers supporting it .the clutch will sound a little different when pulled in due to it being loose and wobbling about.
take the plates out and see if there are notches in the groove the plate locate in.there should not be any notches,if there is,its worn out.
many people say that you should not use 20/50 in the clutch.i have used it for 26 years with no clutch drag or any other problems.mine never sticks.20/50 is what triumph specified so cant be far wrong.
