first, personalized plates are tough to pull off and still be cool. as one who has pondered this issue before finally getting my own personized plate, i would recommend that you get something subtle and avoid schoolboy braggadacio. even if we can back it up, it's just played.

example: saw a guy in a corvette with: evil

yeah, right, you're evil in your corvette. sigh.

i went with (and i'm not saying mine's cool or anything, but it suits me):

a d r n l n

(no spaces, though).

here's some good ones:

there is such a fine line on these vanity plates between being so 1980's (and not in a cool way) and pulling it off (not that i pulled it off either).
