TRI-AL: You're surprised that things vibrate loose and fall off? The good news is that it only happens if you ride the bike. You will find that all of the following will become good friends: blue Lock-tight, lock washers, nylock nuts (fasteners) and stainless steel wire. You will spend an inordinate amount of time checking the tightness of various fasteners and replacing light bulbs which have succumbed to vibration. You may also curse a lot, until you kick the bike over and hear that sweet exhaust note and lean into your first corner. Then all will be forgiven. DAGAD's method for synchronizing the carb slides by "feel" not sight is spot on the best way.
I'm assuming that your tank is clean inside and there is no crud interfering with fuel flow. Enjoy your Bonnie! :upthumb:
