They are good points Gary, caused me to walk out to the garage and look at my Adventurer.
My Roadster Screen brackets have a mixture of black and chrome parts. Never thought about it, probably because there is already a mixture of black and chrome parts in the headlight assembly on my bike. It would probably show up more on older Adventurers, they had more chrome parts in the headlight/instrument area.
Then I went around to the back and saw that my chrome chain guard did come with matching hex bolts.
Both were installed in late 99, wouldn't doubt if it was done differently now, but I would be annoyed as well.
