You wont have a problem, the pegs arent high but they are set way back, putting you in a perfect fighting stance to do what this bike does best, it's hard to explain, it just feels perfect.
As for the screamer part, yes it has a monster low end and midrange, but the real power is above 8k, ride the bike in that last 2500rpm range between 8k and 10,500k and you'll soon change your tune about screamers.
It gets ferocious up there.
