A friend of mine who is 6 foot 4 and has freakishly long legs tried my 05. He reported it comfortable, and very few bikes fit him at all. It's a tall bike to begin with, and the controls are high and fairly far back. It's surprisingly comfortable.
The 2005 Speed Triple is definitely not a screamer. You can ride around all day in 6th gear if you want. Or my favorite gear is 3rd. Put it in 3rd gear and anything from 20mph to 120mph pulls hard.
Perhaps that's an exaggeration, but this thing's horsepower and torque curve really is as flat as anything on two wheels.
