I might ride the roads you are talking about, but not two up on a brand new machine. Wow.
You might concider engine guards if you will be going off road a bunch. I use the ones by Ma's cycle and feel the protect the bike very well.
Is she still pissed you dropped her? I'm talking about you wife, not the bike. Mine still hold a grudge over a little laydown that happened six years ago. She is just finally starting to ride with me again.
All in all, it souds like you have summed up the Tiger pretty well.
