I have ridden my bike in plus 40 deg c days in shorts and have not had a problem with heat from the bike at all.Some one else on this forum was complaining of excessive heat and when they took the bike to there dealers,it had some strange tune in it,when they put the proper tune code in the bike it fixed the problem.I hope this helps.
