I can hear my front brake pads when im moving the bike around in the garage but they dont seem to be binding down too much. Id say that if the bike is easy to push then dont worry about them rubbing a little. They will wear down a little then you will be ok. Otherwise you will have to lift the front end and try spinning the wheel as mentioned to check it.
