I am the third owner of my Bonnie and she's had a few incarnations over the years. Picture 1 is similar to her stock appearance (ie. claret & silver 2002 Bonneville). Picture 2 is how she looked when I took her off the hands of fellow Rat. The last 3 pictures are how she looks now after a winter of personal modifications.
Doing atrocious things to your beautiful stock bike is so rewarding
Seller snapped this pic while I was just getting a feel for the size(it seems all the other 800cc range cruiser's are made for 5'5" people)... complete with running shoes
This is before, bought second-hand in the UK in 2005. No offence to anyone who likes their bike in this format, but I hated it. The mudguards and tank were off almost before I'd handed over the money.
And this is in Lisbon now. No mechanical mods whatsoever - with my level of riding it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference! It could do with a clean, though...
But I do like to improve the look. Only black alloy rims and probably a Thrux exhaust system to go and I'll probably call it a job done.
