Here's something I thought I would pass along. I think I may have invented a neat trick for getting rid of any bruising on the clear master cylinder reservoirs. By bruising I mean if you bash or bend or otherwise abuse one of these the plastic goes from semi transparent to toally opaque, almost like it has white clouds in it. the solution is this:

Get a heat gun and gently apply hot air at about 300F or so. don't do it so much that the whole thing melts, but if applied carefully the bruising just fades away and the part looks like new again. It will work for all but the most heavy bruising, and will lessen all of it.

just thought I'd pass it along, is this a new discovery or is this already well known?
