When you want to make a link clickable, use the black button at the bottom of the message pane that says "URL" (just below the smilies) Just paste in your web address in the dialog box, and in the second dialog box type in the name of the web site.
Likewise, if you want to place an image click the IMAGE button, an so forth for
bold or
italic text.
