I have had luck with a strip of fiberglass/carbon and good quailty super glue. The lower fairing of my daytona was cracked when I got it, have seen the crack on many. Cleaned the inside, strip of glass 1" wide, rubbed in super glue with some wax paper on my finger. Holds very well. Not pretty enough to do on the outside.
