Hi. The stock can on my 05 Tiger was showing signs of rust after only 3500 miles. I took it to my dealer who photographed all the evidence and sent it off to Triumph. Within 10 days I had a complete new system fitted under warranty.
Apparently, Triumph have tweaked the design of the exhaust system to reduce the weight a tad and at the same time had some problems like this. I don't know if its as a result of the redesign or just a bad batch of material maybe but I know of at least one other Tiger rider who has had the same problem and had it swapped by Triumph.
