Get yourself down to Halfords, they do a twin pack of adapters in their proffesional range of tools, 1/2" to 3/8" & 3/8" to 1/4" good kit gauranteed for life too, dont know how they define life though, they don't quible about replacing broken stuff eather, I ripped the head off of one of their samson bars (split the jaws) when tightening a wheel nuts on a tractor, "yes sir here is a replacement," was the comment.
