I dragged this thread up because it neatly covers two points in one for me.

I've spent all day grovelling under my bike trying to make the new 98/99 TBS centre stand fit my 2000 TBS. The arm does foul the l/h pipe but that's only the start of it. The crossover pipe fouls on the stand stops under the sump, I've removed nearly enough metal to let the pipes go where they should. Now the return spring won't swing between the pivot bolt and the l/h exhaust, it's going to need repositioned. One way or the other I have to make this work, I'm off round Norway with my wife in August and I want to be able to remove the wheels and fix a puncture if I have to. If anyone has actually done this job I'd be glad to know how you did it.

grab rail for T'bird or TBS: I have the tubular chrome Triumph one available very cheap to a good home. I've fitted the backrest/rack as a permanent feature so have no further need for the grabrail. There's a picture of it on my bike in mugshots, page 75.

also available dirt cheap: pair of yellow TBS side panels complete with badges but no grommets.
