After months of prep work (i.e. saving money), I finaly got hold of my new Triumph Bonneville on Saturday, black and white T100, king and queen seats, high riser and leather bags. Just as nice as I thought it would be. Weather was great on the weekend so I was able to get some miles in, taking it easy for the break-in period. I live off of a highway, so this constantly changing of engine speeds is a pain (not only for myslef, but I'm sure for the people behind me as well).
Have to say, had two guys come up to me at the Canadian Tire parking lot with great comments regarding the Bonneville and how they wished they had one. Can't figure out why I've had my silver Saturn for 5 years now, and no one has ever paid my car that kind of compliment, an oversight I'm sure ;-)
