Temperature doesn't bother me at all. Decent gear and a set of thermals see to that. As long as the roads are dry. not too much salt and I've got time to give the bike a good wash afterwards I'll go out several degrees below freezing.
Didn't make any mods this winter but previous winter I stripped the forks, had then rechromed & ground to repair a bad stone chip. Fitted uprated progressive springs and gaiters to prevent it happening again.
First time out thought the brakes weren't working as the dive was so much reduced!!
