It takes 1-2 hrs. You remove the 4 screws holding the gauges. Loosen the allen screw on each side of the top triple clamp and remove it. Loosen the allen screw and remove the locater screw from each of the clip ons. Slide them off the fork tube. Remove the levers and fittings on each clip on and transfer to the new heli bar for each side. Replace clip on on the fork tube. Locate where comfortable and tighten locater bolt and allen bolt. Replace top triple clamp and tighten allen bolts. Remount gauge bracket with 4 screws. You will need to play a bit with the cables but the stock ones fit fine. Be careful not to spill any brake fluid. Excellent instructions come with the Heli Bars.
