My TBS survived this last winter with me leaving it outside overnight while I was at work 4 times a week for ten-11 hours at a stretch and we got down to temps of 16 not counting wind chill during this last winter.

If you are unsure that the current anitfreeze mix in the bike may not be ok for your environment ( I would check with the dealer ) you could drain the coolant and make sure your replacement anitfreeze mix is good for your conditions,
Be sure to use the correct coolant for the thunderbird.

I dont have a manual handy but some bikes needs phosphate free etc.

If they just changed the coolant though and are located in a similar region I don't know that I would bother.
