That seems to be the case with most motorcycles. My Concours is dead on, according to my GPS. Try convincing your riding buddies that their speedos are reading high. Sometimes, it's like pulling teeth to get them to go even 5 over in a 65 mph zone when their speedos are telling them they're doing up to 15 over.
