Hey Klicker, a ground isn't such a hard thing to trace as it first seems. If you insist on fooling with this old stuff I recomend you get a nice length of wire to use for testing. Put an aligator clamp on each end. For your current problem attach one end to the ground side of the battery, (I think negative by 1976) and clamp the other end on some clean metal on the turn signal. If it starts working it needs a better ground. It is conceivable that the only ground you have is through the ball bearings on the steering head. I made my own loom for my '64 and included a separate ground wire nearly everywhere. It helps, but Boyer is God.
