I have a '97 Bandit 1200 and a 2000 Trophy 1200. They compliment each other pretty well. Plan on spending money on a seat, fork springs, and windshield right of the gate. Most likely you made all these changes to the Bandit. I found that the Trophy does not need rejetting, a new air filter, rear shock or cans though like the Bandit does.
I did find that I could tour on my Bandit though on a 3500 trip through Washington State in 10 days, had I known this at the time, I might have bought a second Bandit (way cheaper) and fitted the barn door wind screen and full GIVI bags. Good luck either way.
