Thanks guys, you pretty well answered everything I need to know. I'm still trying to decide what I'm willing to spend but if a bargain comes along, it might convince me.
I might try offering $8000 on the new 02 but he didn't seem interested in dealing.
There is also an 03 demo (2500 miles and full warrranty and a few small dings) that didn't sell on e-bay. They told me their reserve price was $9500 - sheesh. I might wait a week and make them an offer just because I like that color better.
