I also have a shorter inseam and my Legend fits like a glove. I'm also a big fan of the cafe look and am slowly swapping parts to get there on my '99 Legend (I'll post pics soon). From the looks of it (I'm not 100% sure since I don't speak French) Mecatwin should be able to set you up with the fender delete and single seat for a legend. If true, I'd say go with the lower cost, local, and already comfortable legend and enjoy playing with it instead of tracking down a TBS and be less comfortable initially. Not that the TBS isn't a great bike, but spring's a comin' and it's time to ride.
