if i was you i would get your bike tuned and jetted. i have 13000 km on the thrux now and i get 240-250 km before reserve. this was not always so. dead stock the bike got about the same as yours. during a trip to tassie i had madaz pipes fitted and jetting to suite by triumph aus. i then got about 170km befroe reserve. not happy jane! on myway back north i ran into an old school mate with a bike shop, we changed jets pilot and mains, very carfully balanced the carbs and then fitted a 19t front sproket. and instantly the bike ran better and for the rest of the trip back to Darwin i got 240-250km per tank, this was while cruising at approx 140kph with the odd spurt up to 200+.( this was also loaded with a rjays bag, tent and tank bag). from cammoweal to barkly homstead i stayed at 100kph and made it the 270km and only went onto reserve about 3km out from barkley homested. i am amzed at how well this bike responds to being set up properly. i am extremly happy with the distances that can be travled on a tank of fuel.
