Not much fun, but interesting. It's ok providing you don't stop the bike, and it will only change down when it is almost labouring.
I rode home about 30 miles without the clutch cable and didn't stop till I reached my gate.

I had to time the gap at each junction I came to and filter into the traffic.

Wouldn't like to do it again though.

I'll need to check the new cables against the old ones to compare the difference, if any.
