If you can get one at MSRP, I think you're doing well. Dealers usually add about a $500 prep fee. That's the uncrating-checking-out-the-bike money. Since you rarely get $500 worth of anything, you should be able to negotiate that value. When I bought my bike last spring (Matt Capri, South Bay Triumph, Lomita), Triumph was offering low interest or $500 worth of accessories. That always helps, too. I don't think I got a great deal, but it was a fair price for a bike I really like - and continue to like. That makes a lot of difference.
