I paid 9500, but that included a shedload of accessories.
Sometimes there is more to be gained in negotiation in terms of additional stuff, rather than lowering the price. For instance I negotiated the first service into the deal, so that I didn't have to pay any labour, only the oil and filter for the 500 mile service, and also got 10% off all the accessories I bought with it. I did get a couple of hundred bucks off the price of the bike too.
I felt I was walking out with a fair deal, so it worked for me.
