Having had several bikes with Datatool alarms and now my 04 Tiger with a Meta alarm I much prefer the Meta alarm. When it auto arms it only immobilises. Handy at petrol stations. It doesn't chirp its head of when you get within a mile of it but does go off with genuine tampering. Plus the alarm fob can be incorporated into the ignition key. I'm sure there are other reasons but it just seems a far superior system in every way.
