Ticking noise from right cylinder?

On the last two rides on my '06 Thrux, it's making a noise almost like lifter noise/valve tapping on the right cylinder. The noise typically goes away after I have a few miles on and things have fully warmed up, but it's a bit concerning as I don't remember it before. The temps have come down a bit lately, but it's not all that cold. I'm letting it warm up for a few minutes before I ride off but need to have a few miles at 40-50 mph before it quiets back down again.

The bike has a total of 1,800 miles on it and got it's last oil change September '07 at 600 miles (Triumph filter/Mobil 1) - first service.

I'm taking it in for a NYS inspection, oil change, and all-around checkout tomorrow before the warranty expires (January '09), but was hoping to get your thoughts in advance.

Let me know? I'm worried my baby might have a sticky valve but hoping I'm just overreacting.

Thanks...

Jason
