Garry, thanks much. I routed mine the way you described since it seemed smoothest and made most sense. Routed that way mine is WAY too long. Can't get a hold of the dealer but my guess is they replaced the cable for recall or something, OR Triumph built the bike with the wrong cable. I've ordered what should be the right cable.
