you'ld have to check total delivered prices at both places. I wouldn't be surprised if a state side dealer could beat jack lilly's total delivered price. might be worth a call to these guys, also:
http://www.rideteamtriumph.com/ seems to me someone mentioned that they are a source for products from jack lilly.
check availability, also. i waited a few months for delivery of mine, but that was in the summer. mhp is a small company and production of the mufflers might be down during their riding season.
having said that, i am well pleased with the fit and finish of the product. imho well worth the wait. the sound has an nice attitude, but not outright ear-spliting. some brits have likened it to a lancaster bomber. never heard one of those myself.
i had the dealer download the triumph high-pipe tune and install the muffler. installation by them only because it was one of the perks negotiated when i purchased the bike.
the muffler is a straight bolt-on. no mods needed at the bike's tail for fit, at least not on the s3. i removed my rear foot-pegs. i'm fairly sure there are options available should you wish to keep those foot pegs. my dealer had asked me if i wished to leave mine on as he said he had something to make it work. didn't ask him what or how.
