Thought I'd resurrect this thread with what happened to me. I have a 2007 Sprint ABS with 16,800 miles that was slow to start and finally wouldn't start yesterday afternoon at the mailbox at the end of my street. I'm thankful it was a short walk! Anyway, I have the battery monitor that OnD suggested and for the last couple of weeks, it was green until you turned the switch to the "run" position then it was more of an orange color.

I put my battery on the battery tender every night when I get home from work and my commute is about 45 miles each way. This morning, it cranked enough to start so I drove it straight to the dealer and after checking the charging system, they replaced the battery under warranty. Now the monitor light is green when you turn the key to the "run" position.

Thanks again to everyone on the forum and a special thanks to OnD for his troubleshooting tips.

-Keith
