I fitted a Corbin seat to my '00. It cured the nut-busting slide forward on the OEM seat. The downside was having to send it back for additional customizing. I'm vertically challenged and I found that narrowing the front allowed more than my toes to touch down. The seat has less cushion than the OEM and it's much wider at the back (What do you expect from people who cater to Harley riders?) My wrists, neck & shoulders feel a lot worse after a long freeway ride than anything else does.
