I am only going on the posted pics m8. when you look at the one above the crap flap is coated. If that was not there then it has to go all over the shocker, hence my point, it is doing its job. I am pretty sure if you enhance the pic to show detail in the shadow behind the flap the shocker will be pretty damned clean looking.
