My local dealer recently quoted $650 for freight and prep combined on a '09 Scramber so you can expect some significant costs beyond the TTL stuff if you buy new. I guess what I'd be most concerned about is why the guy is selling so quickly. If he unexpectedly lost his job or had some other unforseen financial crisis it's perfectly understandable, but if he just made what turned to be a poor decision then you'd have to wonder if he had the sense to properly break in the bike (which isn't complete at 5h anyway).
