New Thruxton Owner post thoughts

I've read most of the feed back on this thread. I have ridden and own a lot of different bikes. The Thruxton is a blast to ride. The bike I have is still stock and I've got about 300 miles on it. I've had it for about a week. It's not the most comfortable bike to ride but I find the handling to be very good. The bike doesn't have a lot of power but for me that is what makes it fun. It’s just a very simple machine that corners well and is easy to handle. Most of all I love the looks of all the Triumph Thruxton. I've ordered the stage 1 performance kit from British Classic's and hope to have it installed next week. Hopefully I'll be able to hear the motor run after the new pipes are on it. I'm tired of having to entertain myself by making engines noises every time I ride it. Sincerely, Anthony S. Riselenger, El Paso, Texas
