One way to quiet levers...

I definitely echo the concern on "pinching" the bracket.

I used to (more later) get similar noises on my '06 Thruxton...I always assumed the "buzz" was the cross-drilled rotors, but the rattle at high revs was a mystery...hopefully until now. But...

I dropped my bike the first week I had it ("Yeah, I'm so cool, watch me dismount without putting the sidestand down"...classic no-brainer. Luckily it was in my garage, so nobody saw) and the clutch lever got bent down a little. I eased it back up but was afraid to go too far. Always made the action a little less than optimal. Got courageous last night in the garage and broke it clean off. Looking for a new one today.

I'll say this though...the clutch lever doesn't make any noise at all laying on the workbench.
