Interchangability

Hi,

I'm not sure how relevent to your situation this comment is, but a cautionary note....

Some of the things on the bikes are dependent upon ECU etc.

My example is that I have an 04 ST that I recently fitted with an 05 Daytona engine.

As an ST with the ST tune in the ecu the fuel gauge worked.

As an ST with the Daytona tune in the ecu, the fuel gauge doesn't work. The daytona doesn't have a fuel gauge, therefore the tune does not tell the ecu to transmit the signal coming from the sender unit.

Like I said, this may not be specific to your bike(s) but it is worth bearing in mind.

Personally I'm going to remove the fuel gauge and replace it with a volt meter instead!
