I'm working on setting up the new
Tiger webpage on TwistedThrottle.com, and writing to seek assistance of the wise members of this forum in understanding model years.
The manufacturers we work with (Givi/Hepco/Krauser/SW-MOTECH/MRA) all seem to have their own names for Tigers and their own version of the way the model years run. :???:
I can't quite figure this out.
Most of the manufacturers we work with refer to three models:
Tiger 900 (-'98)
Tiger 900 ('99-'00)
Tiger 955i ('02-)
Is the so called "Tiger 900 (-'98)" really the Tiger 885, making the "Tiger 900 ('99-'00)" really the 885i?
If the above is all true, then what happened in 2001 in the U.S. & Canada? Was the 885i sold or the 955i?
My apologies for the newby questions - I just can't seem to Google this information. I appreciate any help.
