Shift Torrent SS Gloves

I thought I might pass along a review of a good piece of kit I picked up.

After searching in vain and having spent too much money in trying to find some decent waterproof gloves for touring and daily use, I finally found what I was looking for.

The gloves are made by Shift, the type is the Torrent Storm Series. I've been riding in the rain all day today, some light stuff and some heavy stuff and my hands have remained dry, as well as feeling pretty decent rather than cramped or fatigued.

I really like the double gauntlet style where my Frogg Toggs rain suit tuck in and around the inner gauntlet and the outer gauntlet gets velcroed around the the rain suit for a secure and dry seal. My dexterity's pretty good too, no fumbling around or loose feel to them.

My biggest complaint? If my hands are a bit moist from sweat, or getting wet, before putting the gloves on, they're a bit difficult to get into. Other than that, if my opinion counts, they're worth the money and do their advertised job; keeping the digits dry!

Here's a link for a review Web Bike World did on them:

I bought my at the motorcyclesuperstore.com for $49.99 (US).
