An old issue but I see you live in Estes Park. Since last year, Denver requires an EPA compliance sticker on your pipes. Cops can pull you over if your bike "sounds loud" or they can check for the sticker while writing you up for something else. You face a fine between $500 and $1000. They set a limit of 82db. Pretty god**** low.
