Just got a call from the delaership service manager. He had called Triumph to tell them that the head bearing installation didn't fix it -- and that the fork inspection yielded nothing.
The shop wants to move on to swapping the ENTIRE front end with a showroom bike that rides perfectly. Triumph wants them to inspect the head bearing races (!?!?!?!?!) before they proceed. They must have zero confidence in whoever manufacturers the head bearings on these things.
I tried to call Carleo at Triumph USA again just to keep the ball rolling. It turns out that he isn't in until Monday. Come Monday, it will be exactly 30 days since the bike went in the shop -- which is all I need to qualify for the lemon law here. And by Monday, we should know if the front end swap fixed my bike.
One way or the other, we are closing in on a resolution. If I knew it was going to take so long, I would have suspended the insurance on this bike. Very, very frustrating stuff, this.
Thanks for everyone's help.
