The answer was (you'd need to scroll back to my early posts here): Head-on pricing with Honda's 600cc Hornet. Which Triumph and its dealers have achieved in many (most?) European countries. And which, I'd submit, has contributed to the current order backlog. Or to say it in a more positive fashion, to the Streety' INCREDIBLE success.
The "R" is for connoisseurs. I am starting to reconsider my plan to keep on gradually upgrading my own Streety. Sigh! Jamie
