I just did the rear on mine - I put on a metzeler lasertech on the back. The bike shop closest to me (moon motorsports in monticello) had no problem getting the tire, and the price they charged seemed close to what I saw online, though I did not spend a lot of time digging into it.

It was pretty spendy, and they still charged me full loose wheel price to fit the tire, despite the fact I left the wheel with them for the day. That bummed me out a bit - some dealers cut you slack if you leave the wheel with them since they can work around it - but hey they have to run a business.

I had them balance it, and also put a new inner tube in it, just 'cos.

All in 195 bucks. I reckon by what your saying you should come out at 150 ish once all is said and done. Not bad actually.

I'm surprised you are having difficulty finiding the front - the front wheel is not so unusual, it's the back that's a bit of a wierd size.

Sport demons for me next time though!
